Our Recreational Soccer Program – How It Works
Each training session runs for one hour and is designed to give players a balance of technical development and game experience in a fun, engaging environment.
Session Format
- 30 minutes of technical activities – Players work on dribbling, passing, ball control, and striking. These activities are tailored to their age group, ensuring skills are introduced at the right level.
- 30 minutes of small-sided games – Players then apply those skills in fast-paced, small-sided games. This allows them to practice what they just learned in realistic, game-like situations.
Age-Specific Focus
- Players are divided by age for both training and games.
- Each age group has unique learning criteria, designed to match their stage of development. For example, younger players may focus more on ball familiarity and dribbling, while older players may emphasize passing, spacing, and decision-making.
Program Goals
- Create a fun and energetic environment where players enjoy coming to soccer.
- Teach the fundamentals of the game while fostering teamwork and confidence.
- Provide the introduction into soccer in a way that builds a strong foundation for future growth in the sport.
